 Outboard Marine & Ski originally opened in 1955, under the ownership of Bill and Jan Davis. The Davis family owned and operated Outboard for 50 years before deciding to retire. At the time of their retirement they decided to sell the business. Local Aspen Paint and Body owner, Bryan Wilson, and well-known Vidmar Motor service manager, Bob Sanchez, found this business a perfect opportunity to unite their business skills and will-to-succeed attitudes together. In 2005, Bob and Bryan bought Outboard Marine & Ski and got down to business right away.
The two friends turned the small business into a steadily growing one. Bob, the general manager says that the best part of owning Outboard is “selling fun, pleasure, and relaxation to individuals, or especially to families. Seeing their smiles and excitement makes it all worthwhile." This dynamic duo has brought new life to Outboard, making sure that the customers' every desire is fulfilled. In 2006 Outboard Marine & Ski became Outboard Marine & Ski ATV! The store now carried CAN-AM ATVs for the “rugged terrain enthusiasts". Bryan and Bob thought that ATVs and boating would compliment each other. They believed that "the core of the customer base is the same: hard-core-fun-enthusiasts." It only seemed fitting to bring more fun to their beloved customers.
In the future you can expect big things from Outboard Marine & Ski ATV. It will continue to be a customer oriented and service structured organization. Bob says his goal is to “create and maintain an inviting place of business that people want to do business with for years of boating and ATV pleasure to come.”
